how do immersive performers adapt their movement for 360-filming?

In collaboration with BBC R&D, I designed and ran a four-day study of performance practice for 360-filming. Four groups of actors rehearsed a short scene, designed to create dramatic shifts in character dynamics, in two conditions: filming with a 360-degree camera or for an audience member seated in the environment.

Findings from the study were published in the proceedings of ACM CHI 2017.
